A research-based partnership between Queen’s University Belfast, livestock genetics company, Ai Services and AgriSearch, aims to tackle the issue of vector-borne disease and develop sustainable solutions to minimise their impact on animal and public health. The academic/industry led collaboration is funding a four-year PhD opportunity based at QUB’s School of Biological Sciences, which is open to suitably qualified candidates throughout the UK and Ireland.
