On Wednesday 21st June 2017 at 6pm a webinar is being run on “Dry cow treatment of the high producing milk cow”. The webinar is being run through the EuroDairy network and will be presented by Håkan Landin and Jessica Ekström.
Håkan Landin, DVM, is an expert on udder health and animal welfare. He works at the Swedish advisory organisation Växa Sverige. His presentation focuses on challenges and management of the dry period.
Jessica Ekastöm, MSc in Agriculture, is Deputy Leader for Animal Care. She works as a research officer in Stiftelsen Lantburksforskning (Swedish farmers’ federation for agricultural research). Jessica Ekastöm will give a brief introduction on the Swedish use of antibiotics on dairy farms.
